Video Editor & Social Media Manager to join our team and help elevate our content across platforms.

Job Title: Video Editor & Social Media Manager
Location: Ottawa, ON (In-office)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000/year + Health Benefits (after 3 months)

​Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing & Production

Edit short-form and long-form content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, TV and Facebook

Organize and manage footage from multiple cameras and sources.

Add titles, overlays, motion graphics, and branded elements.

Ensure edits align with brand tone, pacing, and story goals.

Collaborate closely with the producer (Ryan) to plan and deliver content

Social Media Management

Plan and schedule posts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Write engaging captions, optimize hashtags, and respond to comments/messages.

Monitor insights and analytics to optimize content performance.

Stay up to date on platform trends, reels/audio formats, and content strategies.

Contribute to campaign planning for episodes, giveaways, and promotions.
Qualifications:

2+ years of professional experience in video editing and/or social media management.

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects and Photoshop are assets or Davinci Resolve

Comfortable with camera gear (DSLR, mirrorless, gimbals, lighting, mics)

Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual style.

Ability to self-manage deadlines and juggle multiple projects at once.

Creative thinker who can take initiative and pitch new content ideas.
